Dr Ng is a Heart Failure Specialist who was the Director of the Heart Failure Programme in the National Healthcare Group (2003 to October 2007). He runs a very successful heart failure service and has regularly published research articles on heart failure in peer reviewed international cardiology journals. He is widley recognized as an expert in the field of heart failure in the ASEAN region and has regularly been invited to give talks on heart failure at both local and regional conferences as well as the American Congress of Cardiology Annual Scientific Meeting. He has also established surgical and mechanical assist device therapy programs for heart failure in Tan Tock Seng Hospital.


Dr Hsu is a Consultant Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist, and is widely recognized as an expert in the field of heart rhythm problems. After his advanced specialist training in Cardiology, he underwent further training in Cardiac Arrhythmias at the renowned Hopital Cardiologique du Haut-Leveque, Bordeaux, France from 2002 to 2004. He is a fellow of the European Society of Cardiology, the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, and the Academy of Medicine of Singapore. He has been invited to lecture at both regional and international scientific meetings, and to teach and demonstrate catheter ablation and device implantation techniques at various regional hospitals. He has more than 70 papers published to date in prominent scientific journals, including the Myer Sims prize of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh. His scientific interests include the evaluation and treatment of Atrial Fibrillation and Flutter, and Sudden Cardiac Death.


Dr Raymond Lee is a Consultant Cardiologist at the Novena Heart Centre, Singapore. He underwent sub-speciality training in Echocardiography (Princess Alexandra Hospital, University of Queensland, Australia) (2003-2004) and Cardiac CT (University of Erlangen, Nuremberg, Germany, 2006). He is actively involved in clinical research and has regularly published research articles on Echocardiography, Valvular Heart Disease and Heart Failure in peer reviewed international Cardiology journals.


Dr Lim is a Consultant Cardiologist at the Novena Heart Centre, Singapore. His postgraduate training took him to Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, USA, where he did further training in Interventional Cardiology, Preventative Cardiology and Cardiac Rehabilitation. He has written numerous papers on Hypertension and the importance of exercise in the prevention of heart disease and diabetes on the natural history of heart disease in Singapore.

Dr Peter Ang

Dr Peter Ang is a senior medical oncologist at OncoCare Cancer Centre. In 2000, he did specialist training at Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Boston USA in general oncology with a particular focus on breast cancer and cancer genetics.

He has been actively involved in clinical and translational cancer research for many years. He was principal investigator for more than 10 clinical trials.
He was the editor and main author of a book on breast cancer, “Illustrative Cases in Breast Cancer” (2006).

Dr Ang is currently a Visiting Consultant to National Cancer Centre and is actively involved in research and teaching. He had been an active clinical teacher with the National University of Singapore and recognised as a breast cancer specialist, he had been a frequent speaker for Breast Cancer Foundation, Association of Women Doctors of Singapore, and Singapore Cancer Society.

Dr Tan Chee Seng

Dr Tan Chee Seng is a Senior Medical Oncologist at OncoCare Cancer Centre. He was awarded with the prestigious Academic Medicine Development Award (AMDA) fellowship to subspecialize in personalization of lung cancer therapies at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge University, United Kingdom.

His main clinical interests are in lung/thoracic and head/neck cancers. He was principal investigator or co-investigators for several international multi-center cancer clinical trials and he has also authored or co-authored publications in peer-reviewed international journals.
