Dr Lim Chong Hee

Dr Lim Chong Hee is an experienced cardiothoracic surgeon who did his advanced cardiothoracic training at  the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in the United States. He is currently the director of the Mechanical Assist Device and Heart Transplantation programs at the National Heart Centre in Singapore. He has great interest in heart failure surgery and is amongst the first to perform the left ventricular reduction surgery in Singapore. He has been instrumental in setting up the first portable ECMO support program to bring critically ill patients from hospitals without cardiothoracic surgery to the National Heart Centre. He is involved in research and has published many articles in peer reviewed journals.
